Do beginners need any experience?
No experience is needed! Lessons start at your current level and build the basics step by step.
Do students need an instrument at home?
An instrument at home is recommended for practice, but you’re welcome to start lessons without one. I can help you explore affordable options when you’re ready.
Can parents stay during lessons?
Absolutely! Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the lesson.
How are pricing and scheduling determined?
We’ll discuss pricing and find a lesson time that works for you during your free phone consultation.
What happens after I request a consultation?
I’ll call you to talk about your goals, answer questions, and discuss lesson options. If it’s a good fit, we’ll choose a time and get you started!

About Brady
I’m Brady Mayo, the teacher behind Mayo Music School. I have 20 years of experience as a musician and 10 years of teaching experience. I teach drums at all levels and guitar and piano from beginner to intermediate. My lessons are fun, structured and goal-oriented, with instruction tailored to each student. I’ve also helped students earn scholarships, get accepted into college music programs and land multiple gigs. Whether you’re learning your first song or working toward a bigger goal, we’ll build your skills one step at a time.
